A desire for sex is biologically programmed into humans.

Try to think of humanity as one big organism, and then consider of how hard an organism tries to resist death. It's self-preservation on a species-wide level, and millions of years of evolution have made us determined to keep our race around. Sex is what makes that possible. It probably sounds strange to someone who doesn't reproduce sexually, but if you've lasted this long, you must know that the need to survive is intrinsic to organic beings.

My apologies, boss, but did you get put in the organic model that doesn't have any base urges at all? I've been human less than a day and even I've been thinking about it. It's like looking at jet pin-ups but worse.

Short reason: it's some combination of drive towards the only form of reproduction they've got and feeling really, really good. I figure if we're here we might as well enjoy the fun parts of being squishy when we can't work on getting out.
