[ ...Nation? ] Um. You don't have to take care of me.... And didn't you say you were the secretary?
no subject
Ah, I take notes for the World Meetings sometimes. But you are Japanese, yes? As the State of Japan, you are one of my citizens.

...He also is starting to think that he didn't pay as much attention in class as he thought. World Meetings? Is that something that actually went on? He was more under the impression that most countries didn't work well together.
Though if this is a secretary for those meetings, this person's powerful, and Mikado could stand to be more polite. ] I am, yes, thank you. But I don't think it matters here. A nobody like me and a government official like you are both here, but neither of us have any real power.
[ That's a little more blunt than he meant. ] ...Thank you for the concern.
ouch. *ouch* right into his heart if he had one

Ah, well, it's not like I'm saying that it's useless! I mean-- You can actually do something compared to the rest of us. Missing government officials are a lot more important than just citizens so if anyone's going to be found...
[ Is this what he was trying to say?.... He doesn't even know. ] Plus you have the experience to lead-- If you do. [ ...Though does he want people that are focusing on lines in a building to lead? He's so torn.... ]
no subject
...As for leading, I would leave that to others. I am only a representative.
no subject
I understand that. I'd prefer to just watch things unfold. [ Half lie. Oh well. ]
no subject
I isolated once to allow that to happen... I am still uncertain which is the best course of action.

[ Oh, this person's something like a hikikomori, then. Ah, Mikado understands you a little. ] I can understand where you're coming from, but it's definitely a lot better to experience the world and what it has to offer. There's so much I wouldn't have known if I hadn't done so.
no subject
Ah, but yes. While it is important to know one's limits, it is also important to know one's worth. I suppose it is difficult...to do the latter...
no subject
Hm, you're right. Maybe it can be gauged on how much of the world that you've affected. Even if it's something small, perhaps.
no subject
Perhaps... Although one's world can be very small to some and very large to others. Or completely intangible.
no subject
Though I don't think it matters how large your world is. More the people's hearts that you affect within it. Haha, or something like that.
