Never having heard this Doyle's voice before, I am unable to confirm his identity. However, that other voice I heard sounded deep and guttural -- virtually inhuman, were that possible.

[The still-disguised handwriting here is impeccable... but the part after the dashes seems a bit... hesitant.]
