. . . Federal training? Does anyone know what that's about?

And does anyone have more information on what exactly happened to Landel?

If it was a mistake, it's possible it was a technical one. Depending on how heavily they rely on automated systems, and how many redundancies they've built in, it might take them a while to get back on track and pull off a cover up. And that's assuming they're not busy dealing with fallout from last night.

Strange that none of the staff seem to have noticed anything wrong, if it is a mistake. Either they're very good at keeping a straight face, or they're even less aware than they seem.

I've done work in the field. Engineering automated systems, not psychopathic zombie-infested death traps. Just so there's no misunderstanding.

It does. And it doesn't match the story they've been feeding us so far. Unbelievable as it is, they've stuck to it determinedly, from what I can tell. Their being automatons of some sort seems like the more likely explanation.

That seems like a reasonable possibility. Condition them to ignore certain forms of input to keep them behaving within expected parameters. It would have to be long-term, rather than the episodic control that seems to be inflicted on the Special Counseling patients. Assuming we're not all sleeper agents.
