Who here knows the cartoon 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'?

I'm afraid they can't be. I'm from that era and involved in that sort of work and I've never heard of them.

But, as it seems you're new, I suppose that would account for the difference.

Yes, I'm afraid so.

They can't be that bad if they're drop-outs. Those usually get killed.

No, that's when you call it fun.

What is your name, stranger? The name they sign for me is not my own, unfortunately, or I could say you already know mine.

I'll give you the name I use on the bulletin, and should you ever need me, you can call me by it.

Fujiwara Kaneyoshi.

I'm an officer of the History Club as well. You seem like you might do well in it. Should you be interested.

It would do you well to read up a little, Raphael-san. I can't say more because my nurse is writing for me, but do look for other notices regarding the History Club and you may just find it to your liking. I promise, we're much more fun than just a book circle.

I got into a little bit of trouble last night and my right arm is currently immobile.

Well, I'm more from Genji 1, what you would called 1864, than ancient Japan. But what do you mean 'getting any of this'?

-Julian Ikeda

[identity profile] notachick.livejournal.com 2009-05-22 01:04 pm (UTC)(link)
The kind of trouble one gets into that results in a sword being shoved through their shoulder.

It was not my choice to be here and I do not understand English. I am writing Japanese, and by some method or another, you are seeing it in English.

Nurse's Note: Julian fell and hurt his shoulder - he was not stabbed. I apologize for his mistake.

Yes, I'm hoping to get it healed so it doesn't. I've come this far in my life without many scars, I'd like to end it with the same number.

Apparently so. Donny is...?

I don't really understand it. But if I can figure out how it's done, I may have to do it. Waiting for these to heal on their own takes too long.

What is a techno-geek? And I'm sorry that your family is not here. Although, considering this place, perhaps it is best that they are not.

Yes. I'd rather not be out weeks. Or anything more than I need to be.

Oh. I see. I think. He is a scientist?

That is why many patients here have organized into clubs. They lack their usual allies, so they find new ones.

Instead of trying to figure it out on your own, how 'bout just, y'know, asking the one who can do the healing? What d'you wanna know?

[identity profile] notachick.livejournal.com 2009-05-22 01:32 pm (UTC)(link)
I suppose that...is a possibility, yes. I didn't want to bother you, that's all.

But if you're offering - how exactly does it work? The last time I was healed, it required physical contact. Do you read the injured person's body?
