I'm sure I'll regret saying this, but...How do you know? We don't even have the first clue where they've hidden our bodies, let alone how to return to them. We could be here for quite some time, in which case Megatron will be served if we keep our strength up.

It's not a "might". Organic bodies are made of proteins. Organic bodies get protiens from food. If you don't eat, there's nothing there to make repairs with.

Just think, how are you going to recover your real body if the one your already in is weak? If you eat, the body will repair itself. It is inefficient, but automatic.

And what else are you going to do during refueling periods? Nothing? Then you are wasting time that could be used to prepare for night, when you will need energy
