It's not a "might". Organic bodies are made of proteins. Organic bodies get protiens from food. If you don't eat, there's nothing there to make repairs with.

Your choices are to either tend to yourself the human way, WHICH INCLUDES EATING, or allow yourself to perish. I'm trying my best to keep you functioning, but short of wrestling you down and forcing food down your throat, persuasion is the best I can do.
