Will SOMEONE please explain to my lead-brained, rust-ridden, overclocked low priority glitch of an excuse for a wingmate that HUMANS NEED TO EAT?!
I am NOT towing you if you go into stasis-lock again, understand? Doing it in zero-g was bad enough, but this is just STUPID.

(some scratched out false starts)
It's not like I was LOOKING for it or anything, okay? I was bored and just wanted to watch some music videos, and suddenly I was learning far more about human anatomy than I'd ever WANTED to. Slagging Internet.

So basically you're a race of robots who can pick what gender they are? ...huh. Well, that doesn't exactly stop emotions, from the way you act anyway, so what makes you think you can't fall in love and want to do... other things?

Can't believe I'm talking about this with a human...Yeah, we feel emotions. We are SENTIENT, after all. But did it ever occur to your sloppy organic mind that our cultural attitudes towards such things might be even the smallest bit different from yours? How do you know we even have this thing you call love?

...and how come your writing keeps changing like that?
(struck parts illegible)
Look, I think you're reading WAY too much into all this arguing
LuggyLugnut and I have been doing. We've served together in the Decepticon army for over two and a half million years; of COURSE we're going to have some kind of bond. But frankly, all this talk about my FEELINGS is making me feel sick. Decepticons just aren't like that, understand?[anonymous]
...well, at least you're upfront and honest about it.

This is more like a dull rage.

Have fun with that then.

What's that supposed to mean?

I gotta remember to stop doing thatBut you just said you had feelings, so you can't blame me for talking about them in that case. And maybe I'm reading too much into your relationship, but maybe also there's more there than you want to admit?

I have multiple personalities! I used to have a separate face for each one, but humans aren't built that way. It's great that I have different handwriting though, otherwise how would I tell myself apart?
And didn't I just say Decepticons aren't like that? We don't go in for this mushy affection stuff like you humans and the Autobots do. We're not WEAK enough.

Dude, emotions aren't a sign of weakness, and neither is caring for someone. I mean, how would you feel if your, uh, 'wingmate' got badly hurt or something?
no subject
I never said emotions were a sign of weakness, human. Rage, for example, has many practical benefits in the right context. But this gooey LOVE thing...Near as I can tell, the only thing it's good for is making Autobots act like idiots.
And if Lugnut were damaged, I would see him repaired, then kick his aft for putting me through all that trouble. We're partners on the battlefield; he's useless to me if he can't function properly.

Love doesn't need a reason, it's love. And personally, I wouldn't have anything else.
Besides, that you would help him at all must mean you care somehow, right? Otherwise why not just leave him there?

Yeah, that's just the sort of slag I'd expect to hear from an Autobot. No wonder they get along so well with your species.
(an arrow has been drawn pointing to one of the above posts, with the phrase "two and a half million years" circled and underlined twice)
I suppose, in that time, I may have grown used to him, in some senses. Certainly I can't imagine attaining the same degree of rapport with any other mechanism. However, our partnership largely remains one of convenience; our fighting styles naturally complement, and our personalities, current situation to the contrary, tend to clash less frequently than when we are forced to work with other Decepticons. But if it came down to a matter of his survival or mine, I would not hesitate to make the proper choice. Actually, a large part of the reason I'm working so hard to convince him to start eating is because, in this sort of situation, my survival is quite strongly linked to his. It will be infinitely easier to fight my way out of here with him by my side.
