If one were to be interested in learning basic self-defense skills, where might one turn for such information?

Dias, I don't know if you remember this, but you were right when you told me I'd need to learn to take care of myself at one time or another several days ago. I learned my lesson quite clearly last night.

Also: Gumshoe, are you all right? I should also ask who that child was - I have an idea, but would like to confirm it.

Finally, to the person I was corresponding with in regards to the History Club: I'm still interested in contacting you. When would be a good time?

I apologize for missing our meeting. I fell ill the night we were to meet, and have spent the past several days in the infirmary; I was only released yesterday morning.

What do you think of something along the lines of a dagger?

You probably shouldn't try any sort of larger weapon, as that would require learning how to use it properly. A dagger is relatively straightforward.
