If one were to be interested in learning basic self-defense skills, where might one turn for such information?

Dias, I don't know if you remember this, but you were right when you told me I'd need to learn to take care of myself at one time or another several days ago. I learned my lesson quite clearly last night.

Also: Gumshoe, are you all right? I should also ask who that child was - I have an idea, but would like to confirm it.

Finally, to the person I was corresponding with in regards to the History Club: I'm still interested in contacting you. When would be a good time?

I'd suggest finding yourself a teacher, someone who already knows what they're doing and is capable of passing the knowledge on. Otherwise, find yourself a bodyguard?

Are you free for lunch? Today has become quite the busy schedule for me, but I am still interesting in speaking with you. The History Club is quite active, however, so I hope you are prepared for that.

If you are interested in self-defense, there are several here who are proficient in such arts - myself included.

Basic self defense is easy. I'm sure there are people here who can teach you.

Maybe you should have actually met up with me when you were supposed to, then.

Provided you don't skip another meeting, I or one of my friends could probably give you some basic instruction. You should probably find a weapon to fight with, though, one you can handle relatively naturally; I don't think you've got the physique to fight with your fists.

You probably shouldn't try any sort of larger weapon, as that would require learning how to use it properly. A dagger is relatively straightforward.

I'm trained in just about every form of martial art known to man. I can train you, and others if they want to learn. Find me and we can talk further. Short, hairy, look like a wild animal, some have said. I'll be around, nowhere else to go.
