Nothing wrong with Spandex costumes. I'll draw the line at wearing the underwear outside, but if you're going to be fighting it's best to do it in something form-fitting.

Fair enough. But bright red and blue spandex? With capes?

A cape is just asking to get caught on something. And it's noisy. There's nothing wrong with small adornments but anyone wearing a cape in seriousness deserves what they get for it.

And...it's probably better to stick to grays and dark blues in terms of color.

I've had yet to have a problem with my cape.

But only more experienced heroes are allowed to wear them.
