In my dreams last night, there was a creature who disguised itself as a dear friend, and who used his stolen face to brutally injure another friend of mine. Is this a common theme? How does one know if they are faced with friend or foe?

I hope your friend is alright.

And then II don't know. I tried to stop the bleeding...but...

I see. I will continue to hope that your friend is healing, then. If I can help, let me know?

Are you a healer?
no subject
Mildly. There are others with much greater skill than I, but I know enough to get by, I suppose.

Then I may ask your assistance, if my friend will let me. Ultimately, it's up to him.
My magic is pretty useless when it comes to that sort of thing. I can only heal myself. It's frustrating.

I have mostly learned from necessity. The more intricate wounds are better left to someone with more skills than I, but I am willing to aid however needed.

How can they do that? Read minds?
I'll pass on the message. Thank you.

You're welcome.

My magic--what little is left--is mostly offensive.

YoII'm...You've dropped the "el."
I'm very glad to hear it. I was worried.
Re: [Written in shaky, childish scrawl]
I'm alright. I can't walk and it hurts to breathe or speak, but they tell me I'll heal.
Re: [Written in shaky, childish scrawl]
I'm sorry about last night, Valyn. I lost control. It was terrifying.
I never wanted anyone to see that side of me.
Re: [Written in shaky, childish scrawl]
Don't apologize. This place does that to us.
You.... I....
There's nothing to apologize for.
Re: [Written in shaky, childish scrawl]
That frightens me.
Re: [Written in shaky, childish scrawl]
Now I realize why you were so frustrated with me last night.
Re: [Written in shaky, childish scrawl]
Oh?
Re: [Written in shaky, childish scrawl]
You're overeager, emotional, sometimes irritating, frustrating, painful as anything to ride, and you possess a slow but fierce temper. But you aren't a monster.
We all think the worst of ourselves when we lose control, don't we?
