While it does take that Chinese character in its common name, it is just an apartment complex. Maison de Ayakashi, or Ayakashi-kan to its residents. I thought with its unusual name, it might be an easy way to garner the attention of anyone I was acquainted with back home. I didn't realize there would be so many experts on monsters and demonology here.
