So, I guess we shouldn't act like this is not going on. Some of us are sick, and by the sound of it, things are going to get worse.

I'm guessing that some people are already looking for a cure? If you're interested in trying to find a way to stop this thing in its tracks, you should respond here! Because if those people all put their heads together, we might be able to beat this thing.

I don't know that much about this sort of stuff, but I thought it would be good to get people talking so we can work this out as a team. After all, if this goes where we think it's going, it'll be a bad situation for everyone, right?

To be honest, I don't know. If there is some kind of medicine that can be found somewhere for the ill, by all means. I would be willing to help retrieve some.

I'm just concerned that a quarantine would do more harm than good for the same reasons mentioned by others here. Isolating the ill would cut them off from any support and leave them as easy targets for those who feel threatened by them. And if they do transform, who's to say locking them in a room would stop them from getting out and harming someone?

I understand those worries, yeah, but is letting them run off and do what they want any better?

But yeah, it looks like we can try and find some medicine, at least.

Perhaps not, but it could make things worse in a different way.

Unfortunately, we don't really know what's better or worse or what will even happen exactly until it happens. Maybe Landel is telling the truth, or maybe this is simply a scare tactic. Ideally, we should think of every possibility and plan for them accordingly, but that's difficult and unrealistic without better organization and communication between us all.

I can go look for medicine tonight, then.

Well, that's why I decided to make this post! This way we can at least talk about it and prepare as much as possible.

If you don't mind another opinion, no one has to feel threatened. There's plenty of ways to protect everyone.

Even if it comes down to separating some people, I, at least, would be willing to keep an eye on things and I'm sure other people feel the same! The same goes if someone loses control of themselves. I won't let anything happen.

I am also willing to protect either group if and when it comes down to it. I don't want anyone to feel threatened either, but I don't trust everyone to react to this rationally, nor do I trust Landel and what he might end up doing.
