To all myth and magic enthusiasts:

I'm collecting stories and legends pertaining to magic, magical objects, and otherworldly technology. If anyone knows anything on this subject, I'd like to hear about it. Likewise, I'm willing to share my findings with anyone else who's genuinely interested.

Sharing stories over the bulletin is fine, but if you want to talk in person, just say so and we'll meet.

Him, in this case. What can I say, disaster tends to happen when you mix a madman with dangerous weapons.

I understand. Guess it's a waste of time trying to figure out how they managed to bring people from other planets here in the first place, huh.

Not all of it, but most of it. He was a human scientist who tried to conquer the world with deadly weapons he stole, but they eventually backfired on him along with the new, unstable technology that was used to combat him. Everything went to hell before he was finally stopped about four years after the war began.

Then we have to focus on stopping these people first. They'd be more likely to spill their secrets when we've got them surrendering to us.

That, or learn how to control said weapons properly before using them at all.

Agreed. There's no way we can let them get away with this.

[pen taps] So how advanced is the technology on Terca Lumireis, anyway? If Reploids don't exist there...

Being stolen or inherited is the inevitable fate of any weapon that's created, whether it's high powered or not. You might as well hope the person who gets their hands on it is wise.

Sounds like your world's technology is far behind mine, then. This place seems very low-tech to me from what I've seen so far. I'm surprised to see actual paper books and not digital discs in the library, if that says anything.
