To all myth and magic enthusiasts:

I'm collecting stories and legends pertaining to magic, magical objects, and otherworldly technology. If anyone knows anything on this subject, I'd like to hear about it. Likewise, I'm willing to share my findings with anyone else who's genuinely interested.

Sharing stories over the bulletin is fine, but if you want to talk in person, just say so and we'll meet.

Most of the stories I know are myth. Some are not. The former category seem to be migrating into the latter with alarming regularity.

I know what you mean. But so long as there's evidence and a logical explanation, I don't mind seeing a few myths turn out to be real.

Pretty much what it sounds like. Technology from different worlds, or that operates fundamentally differently from what we'd normally find. Stuff you'd read about in science fiction novels.

What's normal for me is probably different from what's normal for most people here, though, so I guess most technology might be 'otherworldly' to me.

I am pleased to see that there are others residing in this fine establishment who favor the magical arts! I myself am an enchanter who worked with the wish-granting variety of magic, among other things.

Are you experienced with this sort of magic as well, or are you familiar with other styles of conjury? There seems to be a varied collection of magical cultures here in this institute.

Wish-granting? I've never heard of magic like that. Not outside of fairy tales, anyway.

Varied is right. Most of the magic I'm familiar with is flashy, reliable combat magic, though I'm also an expert with certain types of magic-powered technology.

Well, there are other sorts of magic I can conjure, like transformations, potions and whatnot. I use my skills to assist anyone who approaches me, to grant them their desires and all that jazz. Unfortunately, it is the only way I can go public with my magic, as most people from where I come from don't like to see magic in its natural form. It is quite unfortunate.

Combat you say? Sounds impressive! And magic-powered technology? Where I come from, magic and technology get along like water and oil! Your home must be quite the haven for magic users! Just where did you come from, if you don't mind me asking?

I had only known one really really specific kind of magic before coming here. Hearing about so many other kinds makes me want to learn about all of them just as much as you. I'd love to share findings with you sometime for sure, if you're okay with that!
