Sorry if this is old news, but can anyone explain those special presents Landel gave out after the whole thing with doors leading where they shouldn't have? I don't know if I ever got the whole story there. It's been a while.

If it helps, I got turned into some kind of little fire-breathing lizard thing. It really hurt, too! Bones shifting everywhere and skin change and UGH. Just not good. Mostly

In my case... It didn't really hurt, but it was pretty awful and I ended up blacking out not long after it happened... It affected my right arm and it's been bugging me since...

If a dragon were wingless and maybe a foot long, yeah! "Intense" is the word I'd use, for sure!

It's good that yours didn't hurt that much, though I guess not having physical pain doesn't really mean much in this place, huh? Sometimes the worst of what happens here is the stuff that doesn't "hurt" at all...

Yeah, it may not have been excruciating but... I looked like I was gonna die... I was pretty sure that was it for me then...

Sort of. I could feel my thoughts becoming more animal-like the more I changed, but I could still think. I still remember it all too. It was one of the weirdest feelings I've ever felt, and I've experienced some weird things before.

Well you're here now at least right? It's not gonna be "it" for you for a while yet, I'm sure of it. Just keep pushing on, and we'll make it out of here, no matter what they throw at us!
