Sorry if this is old news, but can anyone explain those special presents Landel gave out after the whole thing with doors leading where they shouldn't have? I don't know if I ever got the whole story there. It's been a while.

When the doors led to places they shouldn't have, Landel gave out rings that transported people to the last place they'd been when they broke the gems decorating each ring. Locations could be reset with blood.

I know for sure that if you break the jewel, it'll instantly take you to a place you've been before. [a line is drawn to Lelouch's first response] But I didn't know that they needed blood to reset it, so I'll have to try that tonight.

Yeah, I got a strong effect from that medicine alright. It was all just some sick trap! The asshole who left all that poison there was just screwing us over!
