[Very neat handwriting]

To those who would normally attend World Meetings or the UN, I believe that it would be in everyone's interests to know which of us are present. Please respond.

Arthur Kirkland - Representative of the United Kingdom

Hey, what's with this, acting like you're the leader all of a sudden? Unless you want to be the secretary. That's fine. Just make sure you take accurate minutes.

Alfred F. Jones - Representative of the United States of America

[identity profile] willbethehero.livejournal.com 2010-06-13 03:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Hey, I found Ludwig and Ivan before you. And I'm even working on a peace treaty with Ivan! How's that for sensible, huh?

[identity profile] willbethehero.livejournal.com 2010-06-13 03:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Unless someone else doesn't feel like checking in for your roll call, you mean?

Hey. It's Ivan. Ivan. Who thinks it's the Cold War. I should get an award!

[identity profile] willbethehero.livejournal.com 2010-06-13 03:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Hey, I already said I was fine with you being the secretary, didn't I?

It was way more important than that! Unless you secretly wanted the whole world to become one with Russia.

[identity profile] willbethehero.livejournal.com 2010-06-13 03:50 pm (UTC)(link)
I'll make sure to kick your ass for it later then.

So they're calling in the UN, are they? Late as usual.

[identity profile] byname-bynature.livejournal.com 2010-06-13 05:39 pm (UTC)(link)
So you're representatives of representatives.

Somehow I don't feel reassured.

[identity profile] byname-bynature.livejournal.com 2010-06-14 12:32 am (UTC)(link)
So you aren't UN forces, sent to infiltrate the Institute and stop whatever government's military is paying Landel for whatever research is being performed on all of us as we speak?

Well I certainly got my hopes up. Sorry you were punched, it tends to happen here with some of the more volatile patients.

Well as far as I've been informed, we're in the United States of America. New Jersey to be specific, circa 2008. Not as though that means much to very many parties present, however given that it seems some of you are from countries I actually recognize, perhaps it will mean something to you, Mr. Kirkland.

Prepare for the punching to have everything to do with this place. I've seen enough of it to know.

There is not much I can say to that. I wish I could say that logic remains infallible in this prison, but it wouldn't be the truth. Whatever abilities you possessed, whatever rules you followed, whatever people you knew--forget them all. It's a completely different game here.

Wait...You think this place is in America? No way! That's NOT possible.

[identity profile] byname-bynature.livejournal.com 2010-06-15 02:33 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I'm not certain this place is Earth, so it very well may be a place masquerading as New Jersey. Though I believe a nurse informed another patient that the state this Institute is in is New Jersey.

Why can't this be the U.S.?

[identity profile] willbethehero.livejournal.com 2010-06-15 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
Because I America wouldn't do something like that! He's I'm DAMNIT It's not that kind of nation.

[identity profile] byname-bynature.livejournal.com 2010-06-15 04:38 am (UTC)(link)
...it sounds as though you're stating that the entirety of the United States wouldn't do anything terrible ever, though history begs to differ. Not all of us are Japanese, though one could liken this to an internment camp of sorts.

You also seem to be having difficulty with your pronouns.

[identity profile] willbethehero.livejournal.com 2010-06-15 04:51 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I know that wasn't right. People were scared and my bos-- the people in charge made a mistake, a bad one. My nation isn't perfect, but it's not evil! We don't make people suffer like this!

And I would know about someplace like this if it were in America. Interment camps were government run, and if this is too, then there's no way I wouldn't know. And if it's not, then America would do everything in his power to stop it!

Who cares about pronouns when you're saying things like that!

[identity profile] vodka-jump.livejournal.com 2010-06-13 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Arthur. Something wrong?

[identity profile] vodka-jump.livejournal.com 2010-06-13 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
How sad. I would've liked to see your terrified face-

And are you going to lie to me about the war too?

[identity profile] vodka-jump.livejournal.com 2010-06-14 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
There won't be an atlas like for another two decades. But if you really think you can find one, go ahead.

[identity profile] vodka-jump.livejournal.com 2010-06-14 12:35 am (UTC)(link)
Who's to say? You do have a very active imagination England.

[identity profile] neuepolitik.livejournal.com 2010-06-13 09:57 pm (UTC)(link)
...there are two representatives for the Federal Republic of Germany.

[identity profile] neuepolitik.livejournal.com 2010-06-13 10:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Without any information about the matter, I can only assume that there was some provocation of some sort. The only question is whether it is a valid one or not.

Yes, I've been informed that I'm two years ahead of you.

[identity profile] neuepolitik.livejournal.com 2010-06-19 12:20 am (UTC)(link)
...perhaps that is a suitable provocation, given the circumstances.

It would be best if I didn't tell you.
