Would those of you who are going into therapy today please provide descriptions of your doctors and their credentials here when you return? I'd like to know who the institute has available just in case my doctor turns out to be a poor match for me.

On a similar vein, could those of you who have been to see their doctors in the past tell me what to expect? I'm a little nervous.

He's my doctor too. The session was exactly what I'd expect from a mental health care facility. He mostly stayed calm, asked a lot of questions, certainly came across as a very nice man.

I'm not sure if this is true, but he told me the doctors don't have anything to do with when patients are released.

Were you able to learn anything about his background?

I suppose that means they're like the nurses, then. That's... interesting, and more than a little troubling. Would you inquire about this further at your next meeting? I'll be doing the same with my doctor.

No. He didn't even tell me his first name.

He said he only had access to information about his own patients, and that he often comes back after the weekend to find that some of them have been discharged without anyone telling him. It sounds as if the real marching orders are coming from somewhere else.
