Would those of you who are going into therapy today please provide descriptions of your doctors and their credentials here when you return? I'd like to know who the institute has available just in case my doctor turns out to be a poor match for me.

On a similar vein, could those of you who have been to see their doctors in the past tell me what to expect? I'm a little nervous.

Be thankful that Doctor Hannibal Lecter is gone. In case you do not know his reputation, he is a... humanitarian.

In the same way that some chose to be vegetarians.

He offered me a drink, and asked me if I had ever attempted to kill myself. It was rather insulting.

Be wary of Doctor Disraeli. He is one of the doctors I have encountered here, and things are not as they seem. He has a fascination with ophthalmology, and the books in his office are terribly outdated.

Oh, and try not to breathe too much.

Statement: I think I was forced into that meatbag's office as well.

We spent the time trying to traumatize each other. It was entertaining.

Jizabel, I believe. Though I didn't spend much of our sessions calling him by his first name, don't quote me on this.

[ The handwriting is more light and disjointed than usual. ]

I got stuck with Dr. Mohinder Suresh. Total waste of time; I was leading him by the nose before the first five minutes were up.

[identity profile] thatdamnedninja.livejournal.com 2009-12-19 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
Wasn't in the mood to do much more than mess with him, but the fact that I got clean away with it says a few things about his personality. We didn't exactly talk about anything, either, it was mostly him trying not to cause a scene and constantly giving ground because of it. The only bit that got even a bit of my interest was when he said that "I wouldn't want anything he could give me", and that I should trust him on that.

I'll see what else I can get out of him when it's my turn, anyway. Shouldn't be hard.

Dr. Suresh is from my world. Worked with him for a while. He's got some impressive credentials in genetics, but the girl's right about him being an idiot.

Doctor Makiko Kisugi: her credentials are having a great ass and no personality.

Nothing special about doctor Wilson. He just sits there and asks questions, being all nice. Kinda like a nurse, only with a little more personality.

[identity profile] sheisthecause.livejournal.com 2009-12-19 03:46 am (UTC)(link)
He's my doctor too. The session was exactly what I'd expect from a mental health care facility. He mostly stayed calm, asked a lot of questions, certainly came across as a very nice man.

I'm not sure if this is true, but he told me the doctors don't have anything to do with when patients are released.

Dr. Venkman is a bit of a slob--his office is covered in papers and half eaten food. He's also a bit of a jerk, but seems generally harmless. He likes showing off, and has his credentials and press clipping plastered all over his walls. It's very obvious that his ego is a driving force behind his personality.

I had Doctor House last week, but to be honest, I'm not sure he even has the credentials to be a doctor even in this time period. It was one of the biggest wastes of time since I arrived here.

I have Dr. Yumeno! He's really young and handsome, and kind of cool.
