Vampires

I've heard some interesting stories lately. Apparently some patients are claiming to be vampires.

Any confirmed rumors on this? I'm curious...

In a place such as this, where there are those quick to panic, inquiries are an open invitation for others to point fingers. It has happened enough times in the course of history, each one ending in a fair amount of tragedy, if I do recall. It would be better to avoid the invitation altogether.

I wouldn't be opposed to speaking with you, if that is what you wish.

I will make a note to do so. You may call me D.

Anything's more difficult when some asshole's running around and chewing on your soldiers. Kind of disrupts things.

Quick to panic? You haven't been here long, have you.

Abuses of the past warrant caution, not blatantly ignoring a potential problem that will, in the end, fuck it up for all of us. (All of us except for whatever selfish pinprick is causing the problem, I suppose.)

I'm sure it did, and no, I haven't been here long. It just seems to be human nature that when trapped in a building with abnormal creatures, there are some who will be subject to panic. It's inevitable.

On that note, may I ask how you even know that it's one of the patients who is 'chewing on your soldiers'? There are other...creatures that traverse these halls at night, yes?

You'd be surprised. There aren't many people here that I'd label as subject to normal human nature. Or necessarily human. To give some friendly advice, don't make the same assumptions about people here that you'd make about people wherever you're from.

The nature of the incident indicates that it was another patient. I'm sure Hitsugaya-taichou will explain when you talk to him.

I'll be sure to keep that in mind, then...
