Well, so maybe it didn't solve much, but at least it'll help with theories, right?  I marked all the locations people gave me, but I can't see a discernible pattern to support the hallucinogen theory.  I also thought it might've had a centralized location if it'd been something to do with soundwaves, but it doesn't look like that's the case either.

There's also the possibility that it mostly affected those going to places that are usually under heavy guard.  The route to the basement is almost like a trail.  But it doesn't account for the ones who hadn't even left their rooms.  Maybe it was a waste of time but at least it eliminated some of the possible theories, right?  Any idea why there wasn't any activity at all on the East side of the building on either floor?  Do people just not go there often?  Any ideas or discussion would be helpful.

[Agh, I fail and just used the maps from the comm.  So please pretend that they aren't nearly as detailed as the one shown here.  Also, the hallways aren't labeled and only major rooms have been named.]

Some walls flickered and wavered as though they were holograms. Fleeting glimpses of false hallways, pipes, or even skeletons could be seen out of the corner of one's eye.

I personally made note of the reference to 'ghosts' as specific to last night, although it isn't out of the question that it referred to both nights. But while it's true that it must have been pre-programmed in some way, I'm still inclined to think its initiation was deliberate. It's possible that the hacker input the binary as a means of activating last night's events- the hacker breaking in and the binary being played happened one after the other, especially given IRIS' apparent tendency to speak aloud input commands. Of course, I still don't know enough about the Institute's system to make any definite calls.
