Captain Kirk, sir!
I really hope that it was a dream, but...
Sir if you are (still) here, I spoke with a medical officer of this facility, and she has informed me that we are currently on Earth, though she would not tell me what the Stardate was.

Oh my godThis is so coolIt probably wasn't a dream.
They're not medical officers, they're nurses. This is a civilian establishment, at least on the surface and during the day.
Anything you saw last night was real.
... Is Captain Kirk really here?
Can I meet him?- Astor

Yes, I read the primers, though I still cannot believe that such a place exists. I am even more disturbed by the fact that I have no memory as to how I got here.
no subject
I don't think anyone does remember. I sure don't. Which, yeah, is pretty disturbing.

[strike not very struck]
Anyway, if they're not, wouldn't that be the coolest thing ever? Even if we are stuck in this place, Chekov and Kirk.Re: [strike not very struck]
But really, might as well invite Indy to the partyRe: [strike not very struck]

Although the staff may claim this is Earth, I believe it is more likely that this is not Earth as we know it.
How long ago did you and the Captain first arrive here?

I awoke here just last night. When I left my assigned quarters, I met Captain Kirk in the hallway, by chance. We then proceeded to a separate hallway, where we were attacked by belligerent humanoid creatures, which seemed to be dead human beings brought back to life. The Captain and I made a tactical retreat, and then I woke up again in the same quarters I had awoken in previously, sir.
If I may ask, Commander, why do you believe this is not Earth as we know it? Besides the lack of automated doors and natural-fiber fabrics?

Were you or the Captain injured?
As far as our current location is concerned, what Captain Kenni says is correct. Last night I had the opportunity to observe the stars with another "patient". Their formations were completely unrecognizable.

No Commander, neither the Captain nor I were injured. We retreated before the unidentified species could reach us.
Completely unrecognizable, sir? Perhaps I should take a look tonight, just to be certain?

That was a wise decision. Those beings are dangerous -- should you ever have another encounter, avoid engaging them if you are able. They appear to be infected with a highly contagious disease that is transmitted orally. One bite will result in the decay and decomposition of all cellular tissue surrounding the wound, as well as the urge to bite those who are uninfected.
Those who exhibited symptoms last night seem to have improved today, but there is still much we do not know about the nature of this illness.
As there are three people, myself included, who can verify that the star formations are indeed unrecognizable, I do not understand why you think it is necessary to send a fourth person to specifically observe the sky. However, if you desire to see them for yourself and the opportunity arises, I will not forbid you from doing so, so long as you are aware that there may be hostile creatures roaming the grounds, and you take proper precautions.

In the meantime, gather as much information as you are able. How you go about accomplishing this is up to you.

Which reminds me Commander, what's the last thing you remember?
no subject
The last instance I recall before my arrival is turning toward my post to take some routine sensory readings. It was approximately 1.34 days into our first voyage under the recently-promoted Captain Kirk. I was named First Officer just before our departure.
And yourself, Mr. Chekov?

The last thing I remember was disembarking from the Enterprise after the war-criminal Nero was defeated. I went to sleep the following evening, around 2200 hours, and I awoke in the unfamiliar quarters.
As for the Captain, he does not even remember the escape from the gravitational pull of the black hole created by the red matter that ultimately destroyed Nero's ship.

The Captain's situation is considerably stranger. Are you certain neither of you sustained injuries prior to, or upon your arrival? Have you noted any difficulties with tasks you normally would not have had trouble in accomplishing beforehand?

You mean Spacedate? It isn't Earth. If you look outside at night, the constellations match none that I've ever seen from Earth or other planets.

I am unfamiliar with these Lezonians. Why do you ask?
no subject
The Lezonians were a race that the Federation was at war with for quite a while, and that conflict is still ongoing to a certain extent. It was a fairly unmissable event so not knowing about it would be unthinkable where I'm from.

I believe this theory may warrant further investigation, then.
