[handwriting erratic as always]

I seem to have become quite popular recently. As such, I'd like to address a few points publicly rather than trying to track you all down individually, as there is only so much time in the day.

- Yes, I am a telepath.
- Ergo, I can hear you when you talk about me.
- My hair color is natural, I would be more than happy to prove it to anyone who asks, and the hair itself is a gift to aesthetes everywhere. I can't help it if you've got no sense of style, Mustang.
- No, I probably don't give a damn about you. Those I do like, know it.
- Don't pay too much mind to Kudoh, he's just jealous.
- I'm far too valuable to be written off casually, as the sharper-minded of you are already aware.
- I know you're here, Aya~

You do realize the staff reads this, right?

"Seem" being the operative word. Assuming that an enemy doesn't take interest in the smallest of actions could lead to a fatal miscalculation.

Do they really? It's a wonder some nurse hasn't taken down 80% of this board already.

(Reposted because I can't type. -_-)

I've seen them alter messages before. They do read them, whether they censor everything or not.

[identity profile] byname-bynature.livejournal.com 2007-05-21 07:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, that seems hardly fair. But, I suppose a place like this can afford to revoke free speech.

[identity profile] braidless.livejournal.com 2007-05-21 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Fairness isn't a concept many people here care for. Their turf, their rules. But that's how it is in most places.

[identity profile] byname-bynature.livejournal.com 2007-05-21 07:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Very true, very true. I suppose we're currently behind enemy lines and therefore, must play by their rules for now.

And believe me, I don't expect everyone--nurse, doctor, or otherwise--to believe in "fairness". Life, by definition, is unfair. It only irks me to know that these people are stifling the one outlet we have.

It can still be useful for networking. It's just good to remember that it's very public. Some people on here seem to forget that.

They're happy to alter anything that insults their precious head doctor. And if you annoy him enough, he'll do you the honor of singling you out for a taunt on the intercomm.

Though he uses the fake name when he does that, so it's kind of boring.

[identity profile] byname-bynature.livejournal.com 2007-05-22 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
Sounds like a challenge. Still, I'm starting to wonder about why more of what's been said (especially concerning these fights and the notes about weapons) hasn't been removed. It's clear that we, as "patients", are beginning to organize--so why aren't they trying to stop us?

Because they're toying with us.

Landel seems more one to wait for us to get our hopes up and then go for the definitive, will-shattering victory. He enjoys the pain of others.

[identity profile] byname-bynature.livejournal.com 2007-05-22 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
Well, as long as I'm here I won't allow this head doctor to toy with me. No one plays with me.

And I hope that no one else will let their pain be a source of amusement. I truly hope no one here is that sick.

I hope you are successful.

No one that I know of here is a willing participant in his little game. Granted, I don't know everyone yet.

Huh, I like the way Landel thinks. But he still pisses me off.

But admit it. It was goddamn hilarious.

[identity profile] braidless.livejournal.com 2007-05-21 07:26 pm (UTC)(link)
But would it honestly hurt you to at least act a little sane? Not to mention it just seems foolish to draw unnecessary attention to yourself like this, regardless of whether they know what you're capable of or not.

[identity profile] braidless.livejournal.com 2007-05-21 09:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, it's probably true sanity has little to do a lot of the things that go on around here. I'll agree on that point. But, even so, I can't say that drawing unnecessary attention to yourself in these sorts of situations is ever really a good thing. It may be more than just the staff you have to worry about.

And worried? Not quite. I just understand that what happens to one person tends to affect everyone else to some degree.
