I know there's plenty of folks from Gotham here, well here's a news flash for ya.
Batman is here
With us. No armour, no weapons, no escape.
[Edit - The notice has been defaced and restored several times but for now it remains legible]
[Edit 2 - Someone has scribbled over the words 'Batman is here' so they're completely illegible. However every other mention of Batman remains.]

His guyfriends canonly argue whether Bats or Spidey would win a fight. XD
Jay votes for Bats. No way some kid in tights could beat Daddy!
So his daddy beats children? XD That explains lots~
Since, where I'm from, he's a comic book character. (Well, and cartoon. The cartoon is pretty cool, actually.)
Jay would claim he does more than beat them...
I don't even know why I'm surprised. Bet they're a load of crap.

Didn't I have this conversation yesterday? If they didn't, I wouldn't know about the guy, what with him being a totally fictional character where I'm from.
So, who're you? One of his villains?

He- What? A fictional character?
Real funny. Fuck off, I don't have time for this.

Or you could be loony, either-or.

That's not possible!...If he's not real who takes care of Gotham?

(Seriously, who names cities things like "Gotham" and "Metropolis" anyway?)

and Central.I mean, I know we have the whole 'alternate world' thing here, but they really are real.
Re: [anon of ninja threadjacking]
... We don't have anyone from Middle Earth or Narnia in this place, do we?
[anon of ninja threadjacking]
Anyway, I dunno about what you might think, but I don't like the idea that you're trying to say I'm fictional or something. I mean, how would you feel about that?
Re: [anon of ninja threadjacking]
It'd be one of the more unsettling things I'd ever been told. Not the most unsettling, though. Heck, it wouldn't even be halfway to the strangest.
And like I said, alternate universes. What's real for me might not be real for you. Which still isn't all that strange, in my experience.

Hey look, maybe it doesn't seem that weird to you, but someone coming along on the bulletin and telling me that everything and everyone I ever knew was just fiction to them, like it doesn't even mean anything...
It's just not cool, okay?

Just because Batman and Gotham are iconic fictional things in my universe, doesn't mean they aren't real in yours.
Who are you, anyway? You're pretty bitter about a guy who dresses up in a bat costume to fight crime and nutjobs in permanent clown makeup.
