To those in a "relationship":

A friend and I have had some questions about sex, but since no one wants to give us a straight answer, we thought it might be easier just to watch. Would anyone be willing to have a couple of patients observe them as they have sex? We promise to be quiet while we watch. (Someone who would let us ask questions later would be perfect.)

This might seem like a strange request, but we've kind of exhausted our resources on this. Please leave your name if you are interested. Any help would be appreciated.

Or if it would be better, we could just look at porn pictures instead. We don't want anyone to be upset or mad.

Well, you are dealing with what most would consider a rather sensitive subject. Some are more comfortable discussing it because of cultural values or personal attitudes regarding it. It's sensitive because if someone learns of it incorrectly, especially when of younger age, it can lead to misconceptions and bad decisions. I believe that is why so many are hesitant to talk about it.

It's not that anyone's keeping it a secret. It's that most people don't know how to teach such things correctly. No one wants to be held responsible for giving the wrong idea. Though it looks like it's far too late to worry about that at this point.
