Actually, you haven't, but that's a rare case. You love humans - I hate them. Having to hold up under the weight of all their idle thoughts doesn't foster any fuzzy feelings in me, and happening to be one doesn't do much to lessen the loathing.

Basically, he doesn't care about you and doesn't want a relationship with you, but he was perfectly willing to enjoy himself at your expense, wasn't he? And now that he's gotten what he wanted, he's trying to cut you off and deny that he ever wanted anything to do with you. Already he's trying to blame you for what happened - like you didn't give him any choice. But you didn't force him, did you?

Exactly. The only reason he's claiming you did is because he wants to be able to deny any responsibility for letting you do it. He wants the pleasure you can offer, but not you. Manipulation, exploitation, selfishness - call it what you like, it's a nasty but prevalent human trait and you'd better learn to recognize it sooner rather than later. Nothing's worse than a victim who doesn't realize he's being victimized.

Well, I have been trying... there are a lot of human turns of phrase that seem to be lost on me regardless. It's a shame I didn't have more knowledge of your culture before I ended up here... it might have made things easier.

I've always been different, that's true... I've always thought of it as an asset. My people are certainly the worse for not sharing my open-mindedness... I didn't think that humans cared so much about that sort of thing.
