I've become rather curious about something I only recently became aware of, and I was hoping that perhaps the input of others might clarify things somewhat.

What language do you speak now?
What language do you hear others speaking?
What language is this written in?

It's a matter of... some importance to me. If you would be kind enough to answer, I would greatly appreciate it.



Also, my dear human Captain, I was hoping to meet with you again sometime today, if only to prove to myself you weren't a desperate fantasy! Please, let me know what time would be most advantageous for us to... talk again. I do so miss you when we are apart!

I have spoken French while staying here, but most of what I have heard has been in Japanese. I understand several languages, but Japanese is the last one I used predominantly. It does seem curious now though, that so many clearly non-Japanese people who don't seem to have a reason to be educated in the language would speak with such fluency.
