...I have a question for people here, but it's kind of embarrassing so I'm doing this anonymously. If any of you make fun of me, so help me I'll beat you with a rock. Um...how do you know if you like someone and it's not just that, you know, you like being around them? Normally I don't talk about this stuff, but it's getting annoying having to think about them all the time and I just want this figured out now before I lose more sleep over it.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Well, if you have friends, can't you bring this up to them. Even if you explain yourself clearly, I'm sure they will understand. Does this person give off a bad feeling or act strangely to other people?

No--- well, sort of. A little? People always get the wrong idea about the person and they don't really care, but it pisses me off when others just assume things without knowing the whole story. Everyone tells me they're a "bad person" and I just... augh. It makes me so angry.

So I don't want to tell anyone I know because if they knew how this person made me feel, they'd probably call them a pervert or something else. ...they're a little weird, but they--- Yeah, I can't really explain it very well.

I would think on it a little, then. I bet your friends are trying to protect you, in their own way. If they've only seen this person act one way, I'm sure that is probably what is causing their trepidation with this person. Don't get angry, remember that they love you too and wish you well.

Haa, I know they are. It's nice that people are worried about me, but... It's... it's weird. I feel bad about letting them get to know me.

Anyway, when they act that way toward this person, it doesn't make them open up any. They're kind of a like a kid in a way - a really stubborn, kind of immature kid.

But I guess that's no excuse. Maybe I'll talk to one of them then...if I can ever find them.

Don't feel bad. We've all been thrown into a strange, impossible situation. It's only natural that you'd keep some things to yourself. I'm sure they've done the same.
