No magic can revive the dead, and even when it does, it's not like they are really with you. You can't fetch them, they fetch you.

For the most part, I'd agree with you. Even when it works, there's a price.

Most of the people who do it are desperate.

I don't blame them. When you lose someone you love or want to talk to, it's hard.

Sometimes people die who shouldn't have. Problem is, you choose to bring them back, you're putting the cost of it on their head, too. If they're worth bringing back, that won't be an easy thing to live with.
