Has anyone had one of these 'family visits' before? They're scheduled for tomorrow and I'd like some idea of what to expect.

Quite sure. She is focused on perfection in all areas of her life and can't stomach anything outside that world view. The very idea that a person is not mentally stable certainly falls under that umbrella, and I can't imagine she would willingly come to a place like this, even to visit anyone. That would be an acknowledgement that people are imperfect beings.
