Some of the people who've been "released" are still out there in the world somewhere. One of them was my visitor a few weeks ago.

As far as I know, nobody's been able to make it home that we know of.

The popular opinion seems to as written above: most are "released" and there is little evidence that anyone is returned home. Of course, there isn't conclusive evidence of anything, really.

Yeah, that's why I was curious. Even though some claim to have seen other patients after they were released, usually as visitors, there's still a question as to whether everyone is released into society in that same way.

The institute must keep files on released patients, which ought to have addresses listed. At least, that is what one would expect from any normal hospital.
