I'm glad you have a weapon; just be sure not to get overconfident. As for me? I... well, got ambushed. Kind of messy, not a pleasant experience.

I'm glad to hear that you're all right now. And yes, I was planning to see him, but I'm afraid it just didn't work out.

I don't have a problem with you coming along, but as I told him, if I don't show up relatively soon then don't wait up. Better to not waste time if circumstances work against me.
