Judging from the writing, you must be the one who was speaking earlier, a 'mental expert'. While I do not doubt your abilities, I would suggest that you keep a more careful rein on them. As well, you may also wish to avoid antagonizing others or flaunting such power; telepathy is an advantage, but that is all it truly is.

Quite the contrary, it was a suggestion from someone who knows about such things; there are those who would not wish others to pry into personal details, as you have claimed to have done in the past. Considering what else you have written, I'm quite surprised that you yourself haven't gotten a warning before.

Whatever happened to the old cliche of enemies banding together against a common foe, hm? Or is this place still not as dangerous as I am, in your estimation?

And when the 'common foe' is defeated, how can I be sure my mind will still be my own?

Oh, I've gotten warnings. But what makes you think I necessarily care whether people want me to hear what I do or not?

Anyway, it's not like there's an alternative.

If there is no 'alternative', then perhaps you should try working on your control. In my world, psychics are more than capable of controlling their powers.

As for whether you care or not... no, I'm quite certain that you do not. Not yet, at any rate; however, it would be a wise course of action to consider your position carefully. After all, admitting that you hear voices in a mental asylum is hardly a promising sign, correct?
