I have come to understand that some, if not most, of us gathered here are some form of monster or are 'abnormal.'

I think it would be interesting to know exactly what kind of menagerie they're keeping here, don't you?

For example~ I, myself, am a vampire.

What do you mean by Shadows?

They are the physical manifestation of the darkness locked away in the human psyche. When emotions like despair run rampant and order falls to chaos, they grow in power and swarm. Shadows then feed on the souls of powerless humans, leaving them in a zombie-like state that has been labeled as "Apathy Syndrome."

Shadows are not visible to most humans. Only those with the Potential have the ability to sense and combat Shadows. There were very few individuals with this ability a decade ago, which was what prompted the creation of my series.
