I do not find your feelings of freedom in this place so strange. It all depends upon what you struggled to be free of in the first place. Being physically held prisoner is perhaps not such a hardship when the intellect is no longer so tightly shackled.

And has been pointed out to me, upon our... release from this place, there may be no requirement that we return from whence we came. An interesting thought, is it not?

If the way is simple, perhaps I shall have such dreams myself sooner rather than later.

And I suppose that depends upon how one felt about the dead man to begin with. Though much that was thought dead seems to be quite alive here, from what I've heard.
