To those who know me, this is Chise. I'm sorry that I haven't been around, but I've just woken up from a few days of sleeping. I'm really sorry if I worried you.

Since everything appears to have returned to normal, does that mean that the military general is...dead? What happened?

Was everything that I did this past week all for nothing? I'm sorry.

And the military is gone. It happened two nights ago. I don't think anyone died, though.

I...don't believe that I was ill. The nurses said it was 'extreme exhaustion'. I remember becoming extremely tired, but nothing else that would cause sleeping for three days straight.

Do you know what caused the military to resign?

I'm not sure. Something happened, right after dinner. Perhaps someone wasn't watching as closely as they should have. In the morning, Landel was here, claiming the military gone.

I think so. This would be the first time that I've slept for a very long time.

It's strange how many would prefer the institute be under Landel's control than the military general. At least the one good thing about the military's retreat is the change in food. I don't know how long I could last eating pink sludge everyday for at least a week.
