I believe that some of the people here have encountered what they describe as ‘monsters’. There is one in particular from where I come from that is incredibly dangerous, and as far as I am aware it does not exist here. I would be grateful if people could confirm this.

The monster I speak of wears azure armour, has a disfigured right arm shaped like a claw, and wields a sword with an eye in the centre. It devours peoples souls to become stronger.

I do not believe I have encountered such a thing yet, but it is possible that it might be here. What is the most effective way to combat it should I encounter it in my dreams?

That is the unfortunate thing - there is no known way to defeat it with normal weapons. There is a legend that it can be defeated by the holy sword, Soul Calibur, but otherwise you have no chance of killing it.

It can be injured, yes, but only if you are skilled. If you are willing to tempt fate, the best way to cause it pain is to pierce the eye in the centre of the sword

What about spiritual weapons? Or do those exist in your world?

Spiritual weapons would most definately be useful. Soul Calibur itself would probably be considered a spiritual weapon, one which has a postive power. I'm guessing then that if you possess a weapon with spiritual powers it would be advisable to use that as it would likely do more damage.

It does not exactly eat them like a person or animal would eat food, it actually looks more like the souls are being absorbed into its body. 'Devours' was the best way I could explain it
