I'm sorry if I'm wrong, but, are you yourself from Ikebukuro? What's the city like? I've only seen it from above in the air.

No, I'm not from it. I've lived there for awhile, though. It's [ Pen marks as he thinks. ] Big. It's really overwhelming at first. And it's pretty strange, too, to be honest--but it's a nice place. It's very interesting.

It must have been scary at first, moving to an unfamiliar place that's bigger than where you lived before. With so many people and things to do in the city, I bet everyday was busy for you. I used to live in a moderate-sized town away from the city, so most of the time everybody just stayed home since there wasn't much to do. Well, except for school.

Do you mean strange as in, a different kind of lifestyle?

I grew up in a small town, too. There really wasn't anything to do at all. So you're right there.

Uh, strange as in... There's a lot of irregularities in Ikebukuro. Things that are outside the normal border, I guess.

Outside the normal border [pen taps here] like unexplained situations or occurrances that sometimes happens in movies? Must be pretty exciting.

I apologize for asking, but, is there any signs of violent wars that occur?

...You could say it that way. There's a lot of things that you would think are just legends that are completely real.

[ Pen taps. ] Wars, like... Gang wars? I guess there were some a while back.
