To anyone who has had an experiment-related nightmare in the last week:
My name is Javert. I am in the process of compiling a list of the aforementioned nightmares in the hopes that a common pattern or theme might emerge which might render their effects treatable. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated; I need hardly add that all information you provide will be kept strictly confidential.
This offer extends to those of you who dreamed of an area previously unavailable until last night. I understand some of the delusions experienced there were particularly vivid in nature.
As I am somewhat inexperienced where medical practices are concerned, I feel it would be worthwhile to consult occasionally with someone more well-informed than I. As such, if you were a physician of any sort before your arrival here and are well versed in modern medicine, I am interested in organizing a meeting with you.

/is crabby this morning
Shouldn't you leave this to someone a little more...up to date?
Re: /is crabby this morning
What sorts of hallucinations?
/really crabby, actually
And who cares anyway? It'll either clear up or kill us, and no doctors here are going to cure it.
grouch. just because your boyfriend got kidnapped...
It tends to leave a man in a mood.

Who cares about the people stupid enough to be bribed into swallowing the pills down in return for weapons or shiny pins? If they want to be collaborators let them rot.

I ask about the aforementioned idiots because I have reason to believe the creatures in the institute may have been human once, too. The two are not unrelated.

[slight pause, apparently too angry to read the second part until he was halfway throgh his rant]
What makes you think that?

I don't see how that concerns you.
no subject
It might.

At least one of the patients who took the pills was transformed into an unthinking creature. It was some time before any semblance of rational thought returned to them.

Hm. Then no, nothing. Are you sure you didn't help yourself to the pills as well?

I took samples for further research but did not ingest any of them myself. Not that it made a whit of difference, in the end; they disappeared from my pocket as soon as I left the room.

Didn't happen to prick yourself on a needle?
no subject
I was more careful than that. Terribly sorry to disappoint you.

Perhaps two, but I'm not sure what caused the latter.
