Apparently (and I mean apparently because as far as I know no one ever confirmed it), there's a local legend about some kind of mythical bird that only eats virgins. Somebody had the bright idea of setting up a medical clinic to foil its horrible plans.

I don't think it's true Scott. If anything this crazy bird beast just probably goes for whoever looks the lightest and therefore is the easiest to carry away. AKA kids.
