Nah, but mine was way too glad to see me. And beat the crap out of me with a baseball bat. I didn't let him but he tried pretty hard to.

You haven't ever run into an evil doppelganger before coming here, have you? Like in any games past the fourth one?

Sort of? I met myself once in Lucre Island's local paradox-inducing swamp, but the one who came out of my shadow last night was more like me under the influence of the Pox of LeChuck. More evil-yar-har-har-walk-the-plank and less helpful.

Mine didn't actually hurt me, but he did trap us in a room in the dark. Apparently, evil shadows can exist without light. Good to know for future endeavors.
vstheworld: (did you just say what i think you said?)

Pox of LeChuck? When did LeChuck get so full of himself that he got his own pox?

Yikes. Good to know. We almost tried going into a dark closet to get away. Glad we didn't now.
threepwood: (Well...)

It's more like a faulty voodoo recipe turned him human and spread his bad mojo throughout the Caribbean, infecting scurvy seadogs everywhere with an insatiable lust for piracy and cole slaw. It's a mess to clean up.
vstheworld: (do you know the code?)

[As he's writing, Scott thinks about how much he wants to play Monkey Island 5 right goddamn now.]

Sounds like it would be. And your shadow had it you say? I guess that makes sense. Everyone's probably appeared whatever ways would affect them worse I think.
