[In small writing]

:(

Can I trust anyone?

I'm losing faith.

:(

Do you need someone to talk to? I'm new, but I'll listen. ♥

[identity profile] dead-draven.livejournal.com 2007-01-13 06:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Lose faith in God but never faith in people. They're not so bad as they make themselves out to be. You'll find someone trustworthy.

In this place, you need all the friends you can get. What's your name? ♥ I'm Elena.

Probably depends.

[identity profile] twelveapathy.livejournal.com 2007-01-13 10:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Just kill yourself. It'll all end if you do.

[identity profile] beforehertime.livejournal.com 2007-01-13 11:02 pm (UTC)(link)
You're a regular ray of sunshine, aren't you?

[identity profile] twelveapathy.livejournal.com 2007-01-13 11:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Thank you for noticing.

Do you have any more clever observations for me?

[identity profile] claire-ity.livejournal.com 2007-01-13 11:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Has scribbled out the above so the words are now a series of crude looking flowers.

[identity profile] twelveapathy.livejournal.com 2007-01-13 11:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Has drawn flames all around the poorly drawn flora.

[identity profile] claire-ity.livejournal.com 2007-01-13 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Has drawn a rainbow over the flames, complete with little raindrops to douse the fire.

[identity profile] twelveapathy.livejournal.com 2007-01-13 11:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Scribbles out rainbow, draws clouds over the rain, along with a lightning bolt striking a stick figure with a frowning face.

[identity profile] claire-ity.livejournal.com 2007-01-13 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
The clouds now have arms and happy faces. The stick figure is modified to have what looks like a suit of armor, and the lightning bolt is shown bouncing off him.

[identity profile] lost-metal.livejournal.com 2007-01-14 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
The armour now has spiky bits and a flamel symbol drawn on the arm. And a kitten.

[identity profile] claire-ity.livejournal.com 2007-01-14 02:33 am (UTC)(link)
A small heart is drawn above the kitten's head and the stick figure.

[identity profile] twelveapathy.livejournal.com 2007-01-14 05:46 am (UTC)(link)
Scribbles out the entire thing and writes "Rocks fall, everyone dies." below it.

[identity profile] claire-ity.livejournal.com 2007-01-14 06:21 am (UTC)(link)
Has scribbled out the words above. A small paper bag is drawn with a frowny face on it. A second bag is shown smiling, it's stick figure arms patting the first bag on the back.

The caption reads, "Don't be a sad sack."

[identity profile] numberii.livejournal.com 2007-01-14 11:39 am (UTC)(link)
*purely on a whim, scribbles out the second figure's hands and has it drawing out a sandwich from the first's 'head'*

*the caption is amended to read 'Don't be a sad sack lunch.'*

[identity profile] twelveapathy.livejournal.com 2007-01-15 12:32 am (UTC)(link)
Once again, scribbles away the entire thing, adding "Tits or gtfo" beneath.

You can always trust yourself, right?

[identity profile] 1imited-edition.livejournal.com 2007-01-14 03:51 am (UTC)(link)
In a very elaborate script, but unsigned: No, and it is in those times when you cannot that the trust of others is most important.

It took me a very long time to regain my faith when it was lost because I could not see beyond the past. If those around you are not worthy of trust, at least remember that the world and future are larger than they.

[identity profile] faithful-frost.livejournal.com 2007-01-14 05:51 am (UTC)(link)
The past is a very hard thing to escape, I know. But sometimes, looking at yourself and where you stand in relation to others can be the only way to move forward.

Sometimes, you have to trust in yourself because no one else will... or you don't think you can handle anyones trust in yourself.

Sometimes, it's nice to be able to count on at least one person.

You can trust death.

Not as an escape, but as a friend and companion.

A man I respected very much once told me this:

He said to me, when I was young, "You are always alone, and betrayal is inevitable".

There is indeed a great deal that is wrong and unfair in life, but betrayal isn't inevitable. You are never alone, because there will always be someone - in shapes and sizes and races you might not even expect - there to offer a hand to aid you.

But nor would I suggest to blindly trust everyone because you fear to be alone or fear betrayed trust. There is faith and there is blind faith, and often blind faith will betray you before any flesh-and-blood person will.

There are those with good hearts here.

You just need to find them. If you're looking, you will.
