You serious? I thought if people go... "missing", then you'd see the proper authorities get involved. I mean, don't people here have friends and family who would find out and want something to be done?

We're on our own here. No one's going to be called if someone goes missing. They just vanish.

I'm not sure what's happened to our real families, or what they've been told. I've heard there are some days when they send in visitors that look like people we know, but they're either fakes or brainwashed.
