I saw a really scary monster last night. It was a woman with no head; has anyone else seen her too?
[The handwriting in the next line is less neat, as if it had been added in a hurry] Oh, I almost forgot: this was in a dream.

Oh! I think I remember someone posting a list of all the monsters that people dream about. Maybe they could tell you more.
[same handwriting as before]
And I hope you don't see anything like her!

I hope you don't run into her too.

Let's see... [There are some dots on the paper here] I went out through what I think are the main doors—across from the sun room—and was starting to follow the road. I didn't see her approach; she was just suddenly there! I thought I heard a horse, too, but I didn't see anything else.
I'm sorry—that's all I can remember. I woke up not long after that.

A headless horsewoman.
How novel.Did she make any move to attack that you saw?[same handwriting as before]
She was heading for me, and I think I saw something large in her hands, but I couldn't make it out before waking up. I'm sorry I don't have any more information for your list.

That's all right. Thank you for telling me what you do know. I have one or two more questions, though. First, were you traveling with anyone at the time? Second, what was this headless woman's mode of dress?
