Well, there was once the British Empire... but now it's the United Kingdom, plus some overseas territories, I guess. What year are you from? Did you understand everything the intercom said last night?

I would suggest that you're from a world other than mine, then, as the Britannian Empire from which I come sounds somewhat unlike your "British Empire." It was 2018 a.t.b. when I left, and yes, I understood it... should I not have?

Yeah, seems that way. Probably from the same place as the guys who didn't know what nuclear weapons are, right? Don't answer that.

It doesn't always seem that way for some of us, but the head doctor apparently speaks English. It's pretty common where I'm from, most notably from the United Kingdom and the United States of America. I guess it might be the same as 'Britannian.'
