Apparently others can respond to these notes?

I have spoken to a couple friends on this matter, but it's still leaving me doubtful.

The impossibility of people being pulled from different places in time - what can you tell me?

It's not so impossible.

[identity profile] afraidnot.livejournal.com 2007-07-13 04:59 am (UTC)(link)
Just like they bring people from different planets and dimensions, they can also take them from different time periods.

If someone you know is here, there's no guarantee they'll be familiar with you, or be the same from before you were brought here.

It's about as impossible as, say, waking up one day in a place you've never seen before without any of your normal equipment or powers and being told that what you thought was your life up until that point was nothing more than a creation of your diseased mind.

[identity profile] reunion.livejournal.com 2007-07-13 05:10 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe someone could do that to you in your time period, but not to me in mine.

I've traveled to other worlds before. It took a bit of doing, but it's not wholly impossible, I assure you. If you wish to see proof, you should come find me. Otherwise I can answer any question you care to ask me.

How do I explain this...

Most recently, I traveled to a place called Hybras--a land only accessible through a very complicated time spell, inhabited by demons. Since this place did not exist in my time or dimension for that matter, I began to theorize that the places and times with which we are so familiar are not on the same timeline. We all have different methods of measuring time, different famous persons, different abilities--all of which are foreign to those we don't know before coming here.

Therefore, it is my belief that we all exist in different dimensions or places outside our realm of influence. We have been brought together by some outside force or other for some purpose which I have not discerned yet.

I hope that explains things.

'tis not so impossible if you know how Time runs. Think of the span of Time, of the entire history of everything as a line. It matters not what world, not what universe. Time is the same everywhere. Now, the mathematical definition of a line if that of a straight distance beginning and continuing forever with no stop. Merely use one's power over Space to manipulate those inside Time's line and you can pull quite a bit from different moments.

Does that help?

Then I'm afraid you must go back to gradeschool, dear boy. It's elementary.

Everything here seems impossible.

Still, it looks like others have taken some decent efforts to educate you. Do you have any other questions?

Originally? Earth. Japan. I'm not exactly sure of the city.

It's not at all impossible. There's enough evidence here to prove that.

I've met people from my future when I was in my own world!

I had a hard time believing it myself, but I figure cross-dimensional travel isn't anymore baffling than raising people from the dead.

Um.. Just throw away all logic when you come here. Nothing makes sense..

Seconded.
