[Posted on Callahan's bulletin]

Dude, who else is creeped out by all the smiley-face paintjobs around here? Is that normal? I've never been here before, so I wouldn't know.

It seems to be a rather new addition to the town. It wasn't like this last week.

Clean, the same as it was the other times I'd been here (this is my fourth visit). Until the other things happened--which I'm sure you've been told about--at least...but I must have just dreamed it all up.

I'll have to tell you later.

Is that what those yellow symbols are? What are they supposed to represent?

They weren't here a week ago.

It looks like one of us did it. They match our uniforms, after all.

[Pen taps]

If it happens again, we should set up a meeting spot. So we can get a good head count and make sure as many people as possible are accounted for.

I was more interested in whether the symbol itself has any meaning. I agree that was probably the reason it was used, though.

What about the corner of Main St. and Bohr, in front of the Tasty Burger restaurant? Easy to get to, but not as crowded as the center of town.

[Forget to mention D| Handwriting isn't shaky, per se, but rather delicate and deliberate.]

Just like last time?

Tell as many people as you can, then. I'd feel safer knowing there were fewer stragglers left behind.

Good idea. Were there a lot of stragglers last time?

Hard to say, since most of them never caught up.

No-one even attempted a headcount?

[pen pressed slightly harder]

We were a little busy. But if you want to take charge of it this week, sweetheart, feel free.
fourstonewalls: (oh?)

[personal profile] fourstonewalls 2010-04-30 05:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh? What happened at breakfast?

[Same writing as before]

One of my friends was blind. No one's heard from him since.

I'm not sure how many people got released after that, but it was enough to take notice.
fourstonewalls: (not meeting your eyes)

[personal profile] fourstonewalls 2010-04-29 05:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Thank you. I wish I could be surprised to hear that.

[identity profile] its-the-mileage.livejournal.com 2010-04-29 04:51 am (UTC)(link)
Wait, all of us? You want me to tell three busloads of patients to meet in one place?

[personal profile] tightsofmight 2010-04-29 09:29 am (UTC)(link)
All of us may be a little unrealistic, but tell your friends at least, or work out somewhere else for them to meet. I just don't want anyone to get stranded if I can help it.

I think they add atmosphere. Besides, it's a hell of a lot better than zombies
