They're not just for that. Sometimes we do weird things out of love, and those things can be misinterpreted, leading to problems and a twisting of what the original bonds were for.

I thought he was interesting. I'd always heard his most famous line, "God is dead" and assumed many things. When I actually read him, I was surprised to learn that he isn't nihilistic at all. Rather, he's quite the opposite. He focuses on the enjoyment of this life and therefore rejects religion since it focuses far too much on an abstract promise of a perfect life after death, ignoring the splendor of this one, and leading people to ignore it and their interpersonal relations during it as well.

[This is again in a folded note so others can play: I notice a trend of religious terms, including one about sacrifice, betrayal, and your brothers. The magnum opus, referring to the alchemical meaning rather than the common one, is a clue as well, especially when people know you a little better. The Lamb of God dies to cleanse humanity of its sins - do you think one of you has to die for the same reason?

And I don't think you're a burden. Just maybe you need to find someone other than your brothers to rely on. ]
